This training in based on the NARA Licensing Curriculum. Licensing as a profession is one of the most ethically demanding of all professions. We often are required to step between colliding interests – between family members; staff and residents; always thinking of the protection of clients. The complaint process will be discussed using a systematic examination of values used in decision-making during the complaint process .and the examination of felt obligations. Presenters will discuss the complaint processes in both state regulated programs and Tribal Nation regulated programs.
