The SAFE workshop will introduce its audience to the SAFE tools and methodology and address why it is so important to adhere to licensing standards, as well as conducting a thorough assessment when determiningd the suitability of potential families. The SAFE Model promotes regulatory compliance and provides practitioners with the tools to complete a thouough evaluation which includes a psychosocial evaluation of the applicants. The result is a comprehensive, investigative report that addresses the viabillity of the applicants and their abillity to meet the needs of children placed in their home. SAFE is operational in the United States and Canada.
